Default any1 please help !!!!

car: 1999 audi a4 quattro 1.8t (aeb) just rebuilt, did eagle rods, je piston, 50trim,clutch, timing belt, waterpump, etc etc. will post pics soon started first crank now the PROBLEM when driving on street as i approach lights or stops and i try to go from gear to neutral it starts to shake check eng. light flashes aswell as battery light??? and its dumping white smoke smells like gas and it goes away, i thought it was a bad maf sensor so i replaced same prob. freeway it drives smooth, only happens in street, friend said its running hella rich and should worry to just break in miles then tune, but im scared to drive it and blow all the money i just put into it

We need more info... specifically: injectors, FPR, spark plugs, spark plug gap, tune, MBC or N75, and anything else you can think of. Also, how old are your coils and ICM?

Do you have a wideband sensor/gauge?

Do you have VAG-COM to log your engine parameters as you drive? Like MAF, injectors, timing pull, coolant and intake temps., etc.

To answer your immediate inquiry, it sounds like your car is misfiring, because the CEL flashes when there is a misfire. You'll need to scan your ECU for fault codes to see what the real problem is.

you run break in oil or generic oil because you change it pretty quickly. Did you have the head decked? i have seen too many problems dude to a rebuilt without a proper head deck.

Why stock injectors with a .50 trim? What FPR are you running? Stock fuel pump?

You should be doing the break-in with the injectors and full tune. Running an aftermarket turbo on stock maps with stock fueling is not going to run right.

Wow, you need to do the fuel pump, different injectors, and at least flash it with a generic tune that's mapped for a similar setup. You're running a stock maf sensor and housing? Stop driving this car until its done right. Where are you located?
