pretty sure the one or more of the coil packs are shot got the blinking cel light ... dont want to spend the money or the time bringing on a tow truck to auto zone to check the codes just need a diagram to make sure what i should be doing any help would be greatly appreciated

 

go to autozone and rent their scanner and take it back to your car. you wont be able to easily tell which cylinder is misfiring if you cant pull codes. and you cant do the procedure to figure out if its the coil pack(s) itself or if its really the ICM that is dead without scanning the codes either. while your there pick up a repair manual for your car for $10, it comes in handy all the time and it has all the wiring diagrams in the back.
