Hey fellas,

Anyone sold their used (clogged) cat to a scrap yard? If so, how much did you get for it? Tried selling mine and the guy told me it was worth $4.00 because the internals were made of stainless steel. Wasn't too sure about it, so I kept it.

buy some high flow cats

 

cats are usully worth around fifty bucks at the right yard. sold mine out of my old grand am and got sixty for it. it is definately worth more than four dollars. you know he's pulling your leg cause why would he even offer four for it? its pointless.

Just bought a new one from the dealer this week and had to give them back my old one... Core charge I guess? I should have asked more Q's.

 

Wow. The Audi dealer? You must've dropped almost $900 on a cat!

 

A friend of mine was telling me that if you look around, you should be able to get about 40-60 bucks for a used cat, simply because the metals inside can be smelted down and sold for BIG bucks...
