I've been looking around at turbo upgrades have thrown a high flow manifold and 3" straight pipe exhaust to get ready for a turbo upgrade. I'm wondering whats the best bang for my buck. Ive heard about the GTRS and it looks sick (beating M3s) but i dont have a whole lot of owner opinion.

SO my question to all of you out there is what kind of kits do you guys have and whats your power output and overall opinion on your turbos. Also, what other mods should i do to allow for an upgraded turbo kit? (if any)

 

The GTRS is most likely the route I plan on going myself. After doing the research it looks like the easiest route to go for serious power without going crazy and having to mod out the car.

I suppose turbo with best bang for buck would be KO4 though, because it's a straight bolt on, and you only need a few additional supporting mods.

But I'm like super new to turbo's myself.

 

I definitely want to end up with over 300+ whp... make an s4 killer

if you search around you will find what people are running, maybe not so much so on this site as say az, but i did a build thread a month or so ago... the gtrs is night and day difference, but 300whp not very likely on 93, and who is going to run race all the time

Gtrs running Unitronic tuning could make 300whp on 93. I made 301whp with a gtrs in 2006 with 93 and meth injection but that was with Revo software. The meth allowed me to run the highest timing setting which is just comparable to what you would run on just 93 using Uni. Set the boost to like 22psi and you will be right there around 300 on a mustang dyno or for sure with a dynojet.

 

i spike at 25 and stay steady about 21... there is no way my car is making 300awhp

but i will know in a few weeks when my buddies shop get their awd dyno
