Anyone here swap over to Iridium spark plugs? I hear great things about them, especially on the 1.8t's. Any gains? Fuel economy or hp, help with idle anything, all info welcome.

 

Not sure if they are iridiums, but I run NGK V-Power spark plugs and nothing has changed over the stock NGK's. I don't know my MPG but a full tank will yield me about 350-360 miles on my 2.8.

 

damn, nope v-power's are what im running right now. I have heard super things about the iridium ones for turbo charged cars, and well thats what im drivin . Thanks for the message though was beginning to feel lonely.

 

I don't know if this will help your decision but, I run iridum spark plugs in my car. I tried running 2 heat ranges colder and the car didn't run as well on the e-85 for some reason. So testing plugs and heat ranges I went back to the stock heat range and ran the iridum plugs this time and they seem to be an improvement.

 

All of the A4 1.8t owners I have seen post about iridum plugs is that they dont work all that well in our cars, I know the Evo guys love them.
