I think the entire B5 community should reach out and shake your hand. I have EXACTLY the same problem and i cannot wait to come home from school to fix it. I am disappointed to say that my door speakers are blown. Oh well, that is what happens when your dad blasts bluegrass i guess haha.

I have this problem with what sounds like at least 3 of my Bose speakers (maybe all four). Hopefully they'll just be rattling, not blown . Going to get some crazy glue!

i just wish i knew that before i spent 100's of $$$ to fix speakers when I had my A4

 

nice, I have an extra set of rear deck speakers now so if these blow I got 2 with the dust caps off and I can just glue them back on! haha

Your a life saver, i was looking at new speakers when i saw your post so i went out and saw a good portion of my dust cover off, so i put some super glue on and it worked. Thanks a million, ya saved me $120 ducks
