APR Audi chip 50 horse 100 torque?????

Default APR Audi chip 50 horse 100 torque?????

Hey guys i have a question. My friend is selling a APR chip from his 98 a4 for 100 buck. He says it will work on my a4 since it the almost the same motor. Is this true????? is it worth it? Any answers would help alot!!!! Thanks

well it wont give you 50 more horse and def wont give you 100 more torque.

what would it give me? would it fit? is it worth 100 bucks?

maybe 10 horse and torque, MAYBE. and it prolly wont even fit, the engines arent really the same. one is 12v and one is 30v. that is a pretty large difference just there. if you want a chip look at the newbies guide. it tells you all the chips and things you can do to a 12v

a 12v ecu will not work in a 30v car or vice versa, nor are 2.8 and 1.8t ECUs compatible. if you have a 1.8t it would give you +50hp/+50tq but you never even said what the hell engine you have.

well he has the 1997, isnt that usually the 12v?

My fault, i have a 1.8t 01 and he has a 1.8t 97
