Alright, I have a small transmission fluid leak. I have checked everywhere for the proper fluid and I do not want to buy the service manual right now.

What is the proper fluid to put into my '01 A4 2.8 Quattro Tip? I have seen that some people have been able to buy the fluid at a local auto store, but others say you gotta buy the pentosin stuff.

If anyone else has had this problem, where was the problem on your leak? I am going searching for the leak tonight/tomorrow.

ALSO, Is there any other tool that I can use to open up the transmission pan area. It seems to be a special bit. Has anyone used anything else?

if ever in doubt call up any audi serive/dealer and ask for the parts department and just kindly ask them what it takes to be 100 percent sure im not sure my self.
