Default Audi 1.8T Sludge settlement March 11 2011

Audi has agreed to a settlement for victims of oil sludge in 1997-2000 1.8T A4s.
You get 100% if you can document proper oil changes, and 50% of your cost even if you can't document oil changes.

Per the letter I got dated December 20, 2010, even if you have been denied reimbursement for engine repair or replacement before, you may be approved now. VAG and the lawyers have agreed, but the court still needs to seek comments and sign-off on the agreement. The scheduled court date is March 11, 2011.

Its not a done deal, but it looks like there is still hope for sludge victims.

The court was suppose to hear this on March 11, 2011, to sign-off on the agreement.

I checked the website, but it does not seem to have any new info.

I'd like to find out if the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts in Boston approved the settlement.

Has anyone heard anything?

Can any of you lawyers out there tell us how to find out if it has been heard and decided or postponed?

Thanks,

Right, only the American cars are subject to sludge. That's right, we're just that good.
