I would love to know where I can get Depo headlights or other good ones that will fit my 97 a4.
1995.5 to 2001 is a one piece btw.

For your 97, nothing oem style is plug and play because of the socket/plug of your headlight assembly/harness. Yours is round and you will disover that the aftermarket headlights you buy will most likely have a rectangular plug.

This, like I said will require either cutting the plug off of the existing harness and splicing everything into the new headlight, or cutting the socket out of the new headlight and fabbing the old socket into it, allowing you to unplug your headlight if needed (what i did). I know you want plug and play, but that really limits your options because of the differences in plug/socket combination's between years.

I say go for 2 piece projectors, with clear corners, ive seen it done and it looks just as good as one piece, but you will need to cut wires.

Good luck, If you want a walk through on how to cut everything just PM me, id love to help. having Euro spec OEM HID in my old 96, its just beautiful.

i was wondering if the lights from depo have adjusters so u can aim your headlights. The oem ones do and i have a 1998 a4 quattro and the headlights adjusters are broken and are pointing way down. Tried to play with them but doesnt seem to be helping so i decided just to buy new pairs and have projecters

The depo/helix replacement oem spec headlights are as close as you can get to factory. But yes they are adjustable.

EBAY is Key! but don't go cheap they will only last a year or two and need to be replaced again. Try to get a nice 2 piece instead of 1 piece headlights. 1 Piece lights can't be mounted properly and are difficult to adjust. I have pic of a 2 piece set in my profile. Got em through Ebay.
