Default Audi a4 b5 headlights

Hey guys i have a 99 audi a4 and i dont like the headlights on them because it makes them look to old. I was wondering what you think about headlights on ebay. Im really digging them but my uncle says for me not to get them because they are cheap and ill break and get water in them. Does anyone have experience with them?

Don't do itttt! Your uncle is probably pretty close to correct about the quality of them. Ebay headlights do tend to fog up with condensation in humid/wet weather. It can be prevented by simply resealing them. Probably most of the people on (and off) this forum will not like that style of lights though...

How about some facelift projectors (from 99.5-01 A4s)? I just ordered a set of Depo "e-codes" the other night. I had different black halo projectors (see the link in my sig) for two years and I liked them.

i resealed mine and no water gets into them. the bracket on them are plastic though instead of metal so if u rear end someone, they will snap and your headlights will be in the engine department most likey

but as long as u don't rear end someone and reseal them then they are fine.

I had to reseal mine as well. The corners fit like s@#% and do not look straight at all from certain angles, and of course I did not seal those. I now have condensation in one of them. I paid $250 for the hid helix (depo) and despite what peeps on here might say I get a lot of compliments . However paying that much and noticing that the lights were horribly sealed pissed me off badly. I mean on one corner of the headlight there was not a single bead of silicone.
