audi recall for timing belt?

audi recall for timing belt?

Anyone else get some mail from audi about broken timing belts, and them fully reimbursing you?

i did...

yep i just got mine in today im guessing you only get reimbursed if u had the shop take care of the timing belt right?

Can you provide a little more detail as to what the letter states? Is it timeframe specific (ie: if you had yours changed in the last year)? Need more details....

I'm not fully sure on that one ^ I'm going to give it a shot like I said. I let you all know how it went. Man....I remember the belt on my wifes one.....

woohoo. maybe they'll do mine for free even though idk if mines been done but the belt looks great and so does my tensioner. does it only apply to 1.8t guys though?
