i have a 99 1.8t. my car stalls when i stop or take a corner and lay off the throttle.new plugs and fixed a tear in the vacuum line ( somehow made the problem worse) . i also cleaned out the throttle body,still no luck. with the millions of problems audis have im sure someone can help me

 

There are many possibilities. One of the potentially easiest ways to locate the problem is to use a diagnostic tool such as VAG-COM. Even if the check engine light isn't on there could still be engine fault codes.

Is it safe to guess you are not using a manual transmission?

 

there was a huge rip in the air intake hose(,big one that connects to airbox and turbo).question is besides audi do the local shops (autozone) have it.would do ebay but need it asap.also any clue on price
