I found a trunk lid from a 96 2.8 on ebay to put on my 2000 a4.

1. Will this fit.
2. how much would yall pay for one.
3. if i get it it is emerald green and will have to be painted blue.

 

it will fit fine but the license plate is wider since than US spec lids. i wouldn't pay more than 250 if it needs to be painted.

 

Thats the reason i want the lid in the first place. i talked them down to $160 plus $80 in shipping. Hopefully i get it before deployment. Thanks for the advice hiwords.

 

Yes it will fit. I actually have a CF version on my car and sell them.

Mike - Does your CF trunk come with the piece where the trunk release/key goes?
Also how much are you selling those for? I went on your Ringer's website and didn't see it.

Midniteoyl - Most stuff for the B5 (prefacelift and facelift) are interchangeable. From headlights, taillights, to fenders and doors.

 

I found one locally and ill be picking it up tomorrow. Ill post pics.

 

I dont offer the small parts for the trunk, but anyone can order them from a VW/Audi dealer which is the same place I would have to get them. I sell both CF versions for $750 + shipping. I still need to put them on my new site but want to find the best way to ship them before doing so. I have shipped them before, even thru Greyhound but thats not an option I can put on the site lol

To ship it Fedex to lets say RI from CA, its $140. If you are a local here in Socal picking it up is always an option.

 

I didn't know that piece could be taken off from the trunk. If I were to get the carbon fiber, I was actually planning on painting the whole thing and leaving that piece carbon fiber as my car is silver.

Does the facelift piece fit on your CF trunk lid?
