After complete transmission rebuild (torque converter, valve body, and transmission) I have no reverse.

The symptoms are as follows. With the car running and in nuetral you cannot push the car backwards, but you can push the car foreward. With the car not running and in nuetral you can roll the car backwards.

Car drives fine in drive. does not move in reverse.

Trying to determine if the problem is with the valvebody or the transmission.

 

Is the transmission throwing codes? When you put the car in R with it running does it move?

 

No codes. The car does not move in reverse, the engine just revs not like in nuetral, but more like there is a load on the engine. Any educated responses would be great.

 

No one out there with any advice??

Looks like I will pull the transmission back out of thr car.
