Default B5 A4 Fuel Pump

I'm planning on replacing my fuel pump on my 2000 A4 Avant 2.8 and I was looking at ordering a fuel pump online and have it delivered. Autozone wanted 263.00 for one.

I saw a Beck Arnley fuel pump and another made by Delphi but they both looked totally different from one another.

Anyone have experience with a good brand and price for a B5 A4 fuel pump? Thanks.

i am running a walbro... but if the 2.8 and 1.8 pump is the same, you can have mine for 50 bucks plus shipping

yeah.... i am only on a gtrs.... i mainly went to the 255 cause i was getting a lean code, come to find out it was my alternator not putting off enough volts to make **** work.... cause even after the pump swap i still got the lean code

my other option was a 044.... and 400 bones was more than i wanted to drop, plus the 255 is "proven" to work with the gtrs

Got my 044 barely used for a hundred bucks. And its the real deal, not some knockoff bs. I love when people are strapped for cash

with a B5 Avant, what's the route to the fuel pump? Is it through the rear seat passenger side or through the trunk right behind the seat?

Remove the cargo net anchors in the trunk, then just pull the spare tire well cover completely out of the car, you'll see a circular plate with three screws. It's under there.
