I didn't even open the link but I can tell you a b7 suspension will NOT fit on a B5, the setup is too different.

 

No. I know you're trying to set up your B5 suspension for cheap, but you'll end up paying in the end if you don't do it right. The arms in these cars are expensive. You don't want to prematurely wear the bushings or bend an arm from cheaping out. I think the best bang for your buck for B5 is Eibach springs and Bilstein shocks. Add big stabilizer bars if you've got the extra dough.

If you have a non-sport A4, the most inexpensive option that will make a difference is probably a used B5 S4 set of springs/shocks matched with Hotchkis or Neuspeed stabilizer bars.
