Batman style.
Hey, i was wondering if i decided to hide a start engine button in my so it requires no keys, would that work or does something have to deactivate alarms and crap. Just wondering, maybe its too much of a hassle
Your car doesn't have anything that keeps it from being started. So yes you can wire up a start button to work in place of your key, but you would have to set it up so that all of the other wires coming off the ignition switch were powered up too. This is why your ignition switch has a off/on/start position.
It would have to be a switch with 3 settings. In its normal state it is off. When you push it all the way down it powers up all the wires including the starter and when you let go of it sits in a "on" state powering everything but the starter wire.
If you look at race cars, they tend to have toggle switches to turn on all the power then hit the starter button.
