I did Remus sports on mine but there like a glass pack very raspy trying to find a good fix to put in the pipes so I wont have the raspy noise when its cold but it was very expensive was 700 to get it all done custom pipe work no resonators etc... if there was no rasp I think it would sound good

Ive got the magnaflow 14815 and I love it. when i first installed it i left the stock resonator in. It gave it a nice tone, and gurgled and popped a tiny bit but sounded very nice. problem was i couldnt even hear it inside the car. and on the outside, although there was a noticeable difference it still sounded pretty stock. Im a "bang for my buck" kind of guy and i wasnt about to spend the money on the muffler and not get the sound i was after. So i cut out the resonator and just put a section of pipe there. Its pretty loud now. But i like that. It has a very distinct european gurgly exhaust note and it sounds great. It also rumbles and pops and gurgles A LOT on decel and between shifts. which i also enjoy very much. The ONLY things i do not like about my exhaust setup is that there is an annoying drone right around 60mph on the highway. not 55, and not 65. just 60 mph. so i got over it. The other thing i dont like is that when the engine is cold (this symptom completely disappears once the car is warmed up) the exhaust has a really raspy sound between like 3k-4k rpm. But overall for what i have into this exhaust (around $250) i dont think i could have gotten a better sound for the money. I dont have a sound clip, but ill try taking one later today with my digital camera or something.

cheers

Look into the Vibrant 1148, I have the muffler with a catback and it sounds amazing. Quiet when you drive like a normal person, but when you open it up it sounds like a monster. Here is my crappy vid of it...

Hey i am going to run the magnaflow 14815 on my car. I was just asking for some advice on how to get a better sound then my stock set up without too much money. I know the muffler alone is going to run me about $220 off ebay. I want to run a 2.5 inch pipe from flex pipe back into the magnaflow muffler. How would i do this and what would i tell my mechanic...i know there are two pre cats and one other i believe but i am not sure on this year. ANy advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I wouldn't mess with the cats. Take the muffler to Midas or Monroe and have them bend it up for you. Go from the sleeve clamps back to the muffler

It honestly depends on the particular shop. The Midas up by my dad's house in PA does great work, but the one closest to me in VA is just awful. If you can find an independent exhaust shop that would be better for quality, but will also usually cost you more money.
