Default Beware of gripforce/f1 racing clutches

I bought a "F1 Racing" stage 1 clutch kit from Gripforce Clutches....
What I got is a factory defect LuK OE kit, NO RELEASE from the pressure plate, my car laid up for 2 weeks and a $270 blow to the wallet.
Be careful what you buy from these guys...
Ive had my trans out and back in 3 times, had to go buy a LuK OE kit from my local parts dealer just to get my car running again.
The bright side, I can do a clutch on a B5 in about 6hrs. FLAT.
(If you need I would be happy to share dos and donts and fastest approach etc..)
Here is some footage of what you may get if you order from Gripforce, just wanna give you a heads up.

This is exactly why people buy South Bend or Clutch Masters clutch kits, also why you get what you pay for. Going cheap on the clutch is never a good idea because of the high amount of labor needed to just get the part on the car.

Lol $270 is pretty cheap, not a bad loss for going cheap. Southbend is what I have and works great I wont go cheap on parts that have large stresses and take 12 hrs to put in :P

This is the exact reason I bought my heater core from the dealership taking a large hit to the wallet. Considering the time it took to install, I don't ever want to do that again.

There is nothing to adjust at the pedals in a A4.

It isn't the loss of the cost of a cheap clutch, it is all the labor charges that add up and the down time of the car. If they have to pull the transmission out a few times that cost adds up quickly.
