Default Big turbo lag

Hi all,

haven't been on the forums for ages...
just wondering what people think is the biggest turbo can fit whilst keeping lag in acceptable STREET levels? be honest plz, I heard the rods are only good for max 400hp so don't think need to go more than that.

prolly a gt28rs to be safe on the stock rods, 400hp is realy risky, people say around 300hp max for stock rods and 700hp for stock pistons, if you want a little more you can try the 2871r eliminator if you wanna go about 400 at the crank. But the gt28rs will be your best bet which is rated at about 350-400.

any gt28 series turbo is a good street turbo. All spool between 3-3.5k rpms

28 series is going to be the biggest you can go. But even a GT30 is pretty street drivable, you just need to adjust your driving habits since the power band is slightly higher and so will your rev limiter.
