Default Bilstein Touring Front / Bilstein HD rear on 00 Avant 2.8

A few years ago I changed my shocks on all 4 wheels with what I thought were all Bilstein HD's. But it turns out my fronts are Sports and rears are HDs. After talking with a Bilstein tech, he explained the sports are 15-25% stiffer than the HD's and were designed for lowered suspensions. He said the matching HDs are not available for the front of my car and said I should remove the Sports and use their Touring shocks in front instead as the valving is not correct for stock springs. They do not make Touring shocks for the rear of my car.

So, from what I have gathered, having a stiffer front end causes more under steer (my current setup sport/hd) and having a stiffer rear end causes more over steer (proposed setup touring/hd).

Is this true?
Any positives or consequences you can think of?

UPDATE: I wanted to let you know that Touring Front/HD Rears is a great combo. Ditching the Sports up front was the best decision I have made on this car in 5 years.

for the price of those shocks i wouldnt even bother go to vmaxx.com and order some coilovers there like $600 and they work good you can keep stock height or go low
