Default Bilstein Touring front with HD rear?

I recently discovered that my front shocks are Bilstein Sports (not HD like I ordered) and the rear are the correct HD's. Since I HATE my Bilstein Sports (hate is and understatement) and have suffered with them for 3 years, I am going to change them now that I know they are not right for my application. From what I have gathered, Sports are for lowered suspensions and HDs are for stock. I find the rear of the car has never been harsh, just the front and always assumed it was because the front is heavier. So...

Can I replace my fronts with Bilstein Touring shocks and leave the rears as HDs?

For 3 years I have been driving with my front shocks being Sports and the rears being HDs. I installed them, so I am to blame for not noticing Blauparts.com sent me the wrong parts (a common problem I've had with them).
