Blasphemous Feelings
So I work at a used car dealership and we got a 2004 BMW 330i in today and I am driving it for the weekend until we have room in the lot on tuesday (MLK day on Monday). The terrible part? I kind of like it. If I keep liking it... I may buy it... I hate this feeling... I feel a little dirty.

I don't know man, I have always been raised that Audi is good and BMW be bad. Damn, I messed up the year. Damn 10-key. It's supposed to say 2004, but I will get some pictures tomorrow. The dealership is charging 14,500 but will sell to me for 10 flat. It is a 4 door, auto with performance package and tiptronic paddle shifters (I think aftermarket), kinda between grey and silver, all black leather interior. I am thinking of picking up and keeping my b5. I don't think I could part with that car... I don't have any beef against the exterior of bemer's, I just don't like the light colors inside (orange is not my style) and I hate the radio looks like it's been crammed together... Other than that, it is fast as hell, corners like a dream, and the ride is smooth. I am torn.
when you say performance pack do you mean it's a ZHP? if so $10,000 is a really good deal. I preferred my automatic e46 BMW 328i that I sold, over any A4 i've owned auto, manual, 2.8, or 1.8t except in the winter. However on a side note you guys on this forum are lot more friendly than most of the people over on bimmerforums, or e46fanatics.
I loved my e36 325is. It had a mean growl on the stock muffler and felt like it handled and was fast as hell. Too bad the tranny started slipping and decided it was time to part from it. While I love my B5, it definitely isn't the same as my e36. I would jump at the chance to own a e46 330i for 10 grand!
Id take it newer then ur current car. Bmw's are just as nice as an audi i'd say. they both have their advantages over each other. u can use the bmw as a weekend car just to cruise and stuff. and those cars can look pretty dam good lol. good luck making your decision.
how does this make u feel:

ZHP like nick said:

Alright, I took some pictures. I know they aren't that great, but when I woke up today, it was already starting to get dark and I forgot about the pictures until I went to the store.
I'm not really sure what ZHP is, but I was just telling you what it said on the spec sheet I got.
Here's some pics though.

Looks like a really nice e46, I like that color a a lot. A ZHP has different bumpers, wheels, steering wheel etc. here's an example of one: http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...standard=false
Yeah, this one is definitely not ZHP. I went onto KBB to see what they might be talking about and apparently there is the ZHP and there is a sport package which I investigated into and found just meant better suspension, and I assume that's what this spec sheet means. I don't know. I really like the color too, but I wish the exterior trim was the same color as the car, which I know is a quick paint fix, and I would definitely get new wheels, which again, is easy.
It is sort of disheartening thinking about buying something I was raised to hate. I talked to my dad about it (an avid Audi owner), and he said without a sense of humor in his voice that it is something you get disowned from the family for. I just laughed, and he said "no, seriously, don't buy that BMW." I might do it just to **** him off and drive it to ALL family functions.
