cars go down hill when the owners dont take care of them. if you are one of those then you might as well sell it. i dunno what else you are looking for, you gave no information about what you want out of the car or your budget.

ok well. im not to sure what i would have to do to take care of the turbo beside changing the oil on a regular basis, and letting it cool down after driving it. i don't think i can take it apart and check the internals, and do maintence to it. i do take care of my car. its not really a budget question i know what i can do for how much. its just im not sure if itll be worth it since its sort of getting up there in miles.

yea as long as your compression numbers are good then the motor should be able to handle a bigger turbo as long as you do proper maintainence, regardless of how many miles are on it. if the motor is not in good condition though you would need to fix anything that needs attention before you try to make more power. letting the turbo warm up and cool down, as well is regular synthetic oil changes, is pretty much all you have to do.

keep the car. GO BIG TURBO. when the motor goes or the tranny goes, put another in. jus keep the car and always have it as a project. dont sell it , youll never ever get ur moneys worth. Dont worry about the miles.

The K04 is your best bet if you are on a budget with time and money....its all direct bolt on and you dont need to modify really anything....just get a good chip and some injectors and you should be good.

if a budget isn't an issue then atleast get a 71r elim. setup.
