Yep, the glass comes with double sided tape pads on the back. But now that I think about it they came with some generic backing plates that fit the clip system in the mirror housing. I think I tried to fit them to my stock backing plates but the heater wires didn't line up with the opening or something. It was 2 years ago so I don't remember everything. The only difficult part is lining them up properly, I screwed up and now they're a bit off centre. They come with heaters but no thermostats like the stockers so they'll always be on.

 

I'm going to TOFTT and order one of the ECS ones. They're cheaper than the stock Audi ones, and I'd like to see what the blindspot thing gets me.
