Blinking light on dash

Default Blinking light on dash

ok.. this light keeps blinking at me and making loud beeps when i am stopped

Its your temperature light, it will blink if your coolant is to low or if the coolant is getting to hot

ok thanks... i might not have enough coolant then... i just replaced my ECTS and lost a lot of coolant during that process

would it be safe if i just added a cup of water for now until i get a chance to go to a dealer for antifreeze?

Only distilled water, but you should check your coolant expansion tank and see where the level of the coolant is then get back to us.
Your in a cold climate like me so you might not want to add anymore water.

PS. I think your car would look better with just the all black rims not the ones with the red lip.

Yea the red lip ones are sold out... So I'm thinking about all black.. Or hypersilver enkei cdr9 wheels

And my Coolant level is about an inch under the min line...

If you are sure that coolant is a 50/50 mix already you can get by with a cup of distilled water until you get coolant, which should probably should be ASAP cuz your obviously low

its the pink stuff.. so idk. im just gona go to vw tomorrow and pick up a small container.. haha maybe ill even get it at black friday price lol
