I've never seen you guys hate this much, if I had a turbo I'd want the sound too, this is just probably the only way he'd heard of it. Chill broooos

Hey everyone, im from Boston and have a 2001 Audi a4 1.8t i have read the its better to install a DV then a BOV. but my question is i have already install the BOV under the passenger side of my car and yet i can get the sound. and my BOV looks like a DV can some one help me adjust it or give me some tips on how to do it any other way


on that same note what should be the first thing i need to put into this car ? its a project car ppl soo any subjection will help

would i get the same sound with a DV and a BOV.??

Did you actually read this thread or just post at the end of it? Whereabouts did you install the BOV and how did you plumb everything up? Do you mean you CAN'T hear the blow off valve opening?

If you want the cool woosh sounds you should of bought a Honda pretty sure they come stock
Why time after time to people get told using a bov will make the car run like a **** pile, yet it is still a question people ask.
Ban hammer next time bovs are mentioned!

hey i run a forge 001 bov. i also dont have an maf or intake tract. too bad i dont even want the whoosh sound. kinda sounds ricey, but theres no way in hell im going to plumb an intake just to use a dv.
