Bolts from Hell !!!!!!!!
I've been trying for the life of me to remove the fan clutch bracket bolts and the serpentine tensioner bolt, but they will NOT budge at all. I am using an 18 Volt dewalt battery powered impact driver with forged steel sockets. All other bolts thus far came off with extreme ease, but I have only been able to get one fan bolt off, while the head of another one destroyed as the socket just spun in it. I only applied WD40 and that made no difference. I did search and what I took away from that, is that I may want to try PB blaster or some penetrating oil. I also used the search for info on air tolls, but no one of the DIYs suggested them. Do you think it is NECESSARY to get an air set for this?? how dis you remove these?? what else might use??

you still need help with both of those? for the messed up fan bolt thingy, you might need to tack weld something to it or if you have skills, chisel it into a square and put a 12point socket on it. for the one in the green box, it should come out, just have someone countering on the **** that comes out of the thing. that's how jeremy and i took out friend keith's off. it came off easily with a 18" moment arm and a beast lol. and yes PB will help out hopefully, hammer the bolt a little bit too
