Default Boost gauge install diy?

I'm looking for a diy guide with pictures that aren't broken on how to do this... Anyone know of one? I searched on here and the first 3 pages I went through there was only 1 guide and the pics were dead.... Link would be cool...

No DIY's I know of with good pics, maybe you should make one lol. Install is pretty simple though, boost/vac source should come from your intake manifold. You can see where I put the T in just above the upper radiator hose. That goes to the back of your boost gauge. Run the vac line through the firewall however you can, up under the dash. For a 12v+ source, try to use something that turns on and off with the headlights so your gauge isn't lit up all the time when it doesn't need to be.

Yea I actually popped the hood and saw everything and laughed at how easy this would be... My only question is how our where would be a good place to run the wire into the engine bay... Am I going to have to drill? Or is there an existing hole I can squeeze the tube through

If you look in that pic, the little rubber grommet I ran mine through was just hangin out there, didn't have anything in it. I just poked a hole in it with a razor blade and ran that small black vac tube through there. There's another identical hole on the second firewall that will get you into the space under the dash. From there, where you run the line is gonna depend on how much you have to work with and how fat your hands are. I couldn't get my **** hooks under the dash, so I made up for it by using about an extra foot of hard vac line. A straightened-out wire coat hanger will also come in handy.

i dropped my knee bolster and found a grommet that ran to the engine bay. then i just looked behind the motor and saw the hose and grabbed it and ran it up to the rear vac hose.

I was a member of a forum where the mods would occasionally implement an hour long post delay for certain members so that they could reconsider the wording of their post. You might want to try it.

We all know you dislike Phil, but be civil.

I didn't think the post was a big deal, and actually seeing the responses realized I can route mine differently. At least he wasn't asking where to fill the blinker fluid like some people do, after they made another new thread for how to check air pressure in a tire lol
