Default Boost gauge power problem

So i put my boost gauge in about a month ago and tapped into the vent dials for power. It had power for the first few weeks and everything was great. But the other night when i turned on my lights the gauge had no power and neither did the 2 dials in the center vents. Im stumped though, my connection is still fine, i have no blown fuses and i even tried disconnecting the boost gauge entirely to see if i could at least get power to the dials but nothing. Has this happened to anyone, or does anyone have an idea of what might have happened/what i need to do?

Did you try and hook the boost gauge up to another power source to rule out that the boost gauge light is bad? Try going to the fuse that goes to your headlights. I've ran mine there for ever and I have never had a problem.

I haven't tried hooking it up to a different power source, I'll have to do that tomorrow. I've got my gauge in the center vent though so I'm trying to get power back without having to drill another hole to run wires through.

Turbo kraut, have you just been running without power then? I was told the same that I must have shorted something out but I have no clue where to start looking.

Did you check to see if there is power in that wire where you tapped into?

Well isn't that what Audi put the little red light in the over head for?

I just checked that tonight and when i was checking continuity that was fine, but that wire now has no power.
