question though... look at this pic i took of it

do i need to get a new white hose for this since it is only about 2 feet long? i assume it will probably have to be about 4 or 5 feet to reach the engine bay with enough slack to place hwere it needs to go

also im a noob, so is there any DIY on install of these? i dont know which hose it will tap into and where the best place to T the line is and what not... also, i dont know where to hook the little power and ground cords to either! ( i already got extensions for those cause i knew i would need it when i got it).

here is a pic of my pod that its going to sit in (it came with this free from a AZ member) (i told myself i would NEVER use a piller pod but i dont really know what my other options are for not much money.... ) i am thinkin i will just do it with this until i can save up for something better....

your going to need a T splitter so u can tap into the vac line... and ive never heard of SPW before.. shouldnt be that bad....

but when u install the gauge theres 2 vac places u can tap into.. i chose the 1 closest to the firewall it was easiest to do..i had it at the 1 closest to the bumper but that looked stupid with a long hose going across my motor...

your other options are to put it in a vent in the center console or what i did was put it in the drivers side vent (got that idea from josh)

heres a diy for a vent gauge... but it should be pretty straight forward for a pillar too

+1 for the vent gauge idea. Here is a picture:

I now have a pod mounted on the pillar because I am now running an A/F gauge so I have both. I will snap a picture of that as well for you if you want.

Is that gauge used? Looks like line is kinked and way shorter than normal. Anyways, I have the a-pillar pod. I ran the power to an add a fuse attached to the parking lights...ran the ground wire to the ground bolt under the fuse panel... I ran the boost line behind the pod down through the fuse panel and out to the engine through the ECU box and clipped it to the coil lines and cut the tee into the DV line(the one JC didn't use)
