So I'm a newbie to Audi's and such since this is my first Audi. My car is a 1998 a4 1.8T Quattro 5 speed manual, I havent put any upgrades on it yet. All I know so far is its got a front mount, straight 2 1/2 or 3? Pipe with can on back... Stock cat I believe and turbo but I don't know, maybe a upgraded DV? It does blow off very nicely though, turbo smart boost controller that still needs to have the vent hose plugged but I don't know where it goes? The T piece is correct I know.... So what in trying to get at is when I take off in my car it hits 11 pounds of boost and rips through 1st gear but it redlines only at 4500 rpms I want more rpms outta my car. But then the boost drops to like 6 or 7 pounds and slows down and doesn't feel like its pulling through the rest of the 3 gears. Someone please help me figure out my problems with the boost controller vent plug and where to hook the hose to and my boost problem.
