Exclamation boost problems

okay i have a 1999 audi a4 1.8t
i recently just got a turbo inlet pipe
ko3 turbo with like 7k on it
k&n cold air intake and a bosch diverter valve
for some reason out of no where i started boosting 28psi when i was originally boosting on 10psi when i try to accelerate using more that stock boost my car feels like i slam on the brakes. its not the brakes. something is not regulating my boost if you have any ideas let me know.

well you're obviously overboosting and its cutting off. check the vacuum/boost lines around the turbo and N75 valve and make sure its correct. there shouldn't be any crimped hoses either.

Sounds like an issue with the n75.

If your n75 got run in backwards or improperly, it would prevent your wastegate from opening causing the car to go extremely lean which explains the surge. try to avoid that because it can very quickly do severe damage
