Default Boost wont hold

Hey everyone,
So i have 1999 A4 1.8t manual. It is chipped(GIAC), dv, intake, turbo back exhaust, and two weeks ago i had the stock turbo replaced(Aftermarket warranty payed for it). Before the turbo was replaced i would hit 10 psi in all gears and it would hold. Since the turbo was replaced i am hitting 15psi and holding but only in 3rd gear and up. in 1st and 2nd i am only pushing around 12 till about 3500 rpm's and then it fades off. i have been over the car twice now and done boost leak checks and everything checks out fine no vac leaks either. If anyone has any ideas they would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Ben

The K03 doesn't hold its boost for very long anyway, but that does seem a little off. It should hold until about 4-4500. Your DV is aftermarket correct? Any CELs?

yea my dv is forge 007. the only code that i am throwing is p0422 which im guessing is from running my testpipe without non-foulers.

Sounds perfectly normal to me. It held before because you were only running 10psi which the turbo can hold to redline, now your running more boost which the turbo cant hold and the boost tapers off.

It is also normal for the lower gears to make less boost. This is because the engine goes thru the rpms quicker and there is less load on the motor.
