Default BOSE speakers

The speakers in my car blew about a month ago, called BOSE about it and the replaced my speaker plus gave me an extra and two fronts all free of charge. Really great customer service. Share a story where you got a real good deal and saved alot of money on a part for your car. My situation came about because I got so frustrated by changing out my speakers twice and not be willing to put another brand in my car. Worked out ok.

Crazy right?? Funniest part, they were some of the nicest people. Guess squeaky wheels do get fixed. She also said if they blow out again, just let her know and she'll send some more replacements...so you know I got my speakers on full blast.

I don't remember the number, I googled them and got BOSE corporate offices. They have an automotive division and you can't talk to anyone. All you can do is just vent. And vent I did. I didn't yell since that can become counterproductive.

I basically told them that I was a firm believer in their products and I had their home audio system (not true) and the issue that I had with my speakers had been an ongoing thing. The bad speakers were causing me to have doubt that BOSE still made reliable products. I basically gave them the whole "customer satisfaction and trust is wavering". It took about 2 weeks to get someone to call back, but I echoed the same response and the associate was great. I wasn't rude though, being rude won't help.

Oh yeah, After I talked with the BOSE associate, I got the speakers in about 2 days. They sound great, then again, having bad speakers for 6 months desensitizes the ear drums and makes anything an upgrade. But they do sound great and they have no dustcaps.

I have a 2001 A4 with the "Symphony" audio system, and my front left is blown.

Does Symphony = Bose speakers?
