look on your speakers, if they say Bose on the ones in the Rear deck or if you have a miniamp in the trunk, you have Bose, if not then you don't

I hate my bose speakers--I almost wish it didn't have the Bose system so it would be easy to change the speakers to Polks without doing the Headunit.

The bose system in this car is mediocre at best. I really thought it was great when I had my A4, at least at first. I found that they are really only good for soft clean music, and when you throw more aggressive stuff at them they would crackle or just sound boomy. Of course, it could have just been that my speakers were blown - which brings me to another point. They are far too easy to blow by putting them through normal use. I had to replace my tweeters many times (not cheap) because they would just go out on me.

Now, I consider myself sort of an audiophile, and I attribute the somewhat wimpy sound so the wimpy size of the speakers. You cant really expect those tiny door speakers and mini rear deck speakers to pound out really full sound

I'm getting off topic... haha - My advice is that you find an A4 without the bose and then upgrade. It is much easier to change out the stock speakers, ask the bose ones are custom sized (small) and you have to buy adapters (pain in the ***)

Sorry can't resist...

No highs, No lows, Must be Bose!

On a serious note I have these speakers and I hear a 4" speaker will fit?
