I have a 2003 A4 that I bought used. How can I tell if it has Bose speakers? I'm assuming it doesn't as Bose isn't plastered all over the inside of the car. However, there do seem to be speakers all over the place.

 

The speaker grill usually has Bose labeled on the outside.

 

If you haven't seen the BOSE label on any of your stickers you don't have it. it goes along with the trim level of your carl, more toys = chances are you have Bose; less toys = Maybe you don't have bose =(

Bose should never, ever be described as "sounds great"

I wish I were kidding, but alas, I am not... The only upshot to a bose system in a car is that the speaker placement has been optimized, swap that crappy gear with some real speakers/amps and you have a good system. I'm convinced bose had nothing to do with the Symphony head unit though, that thing is way too good to have ANYTHING to do with bose.
