my a4 will be faster

and no doubt the s4 tips can be made really fast, it just a personal preference thing. i cant stand driving automatic.

 

Yeah I still enjoy driving a stick but in traffic I ABSOLUTELY hate it!!! It's so annoying!

Really? I searched around and there are a good amount of people running that setup with out problems. A few of them are running the level 10 upgrade though but thats just about as much as a clutch.

I have only driven a tip S4 and it was funa as hell, even though it was tip it felt really conneted to the road!

I have to dis-agree with panda on the weak tip tronic comment. The S4 Tip tranny can handle well over 400HP without any problems, its the torque converter that takes a crap on you.

 

I am sure that the TC is what Panda was referring to. Its the same issue with tip A4's when you mod them, the TC's aren't meant to handle to power. I remember that from when I had mine. And if you do upgrade your TC to a level 10 be ready for some harsh as hell shifting, and worse yet down shifting. There are people talking about how when their level 10 down shifts from 3rd to 2nd and even worse from 2nd to 1st, it is like a loud bang. I remember one guy saying that it is more than enough for the passengers in your car to say WTF WAS THAT?!

I never liked the idea of modding an auto, too many things that can go wrong.

 

Yup, But it will be a while and I am going to slowly build up to it.

And as for the tip tranny or TC, what is the max rating on that???
