Default bov on an auto fwd 1.8t??? trouble code?

would i get n e sound out of a bov or diverter valve with an automatic and would headers give me more boost seeing that it would give out more flow to the turbo????

i also pulled a code telling me that my n75 or boost solanoid was malfunctioning

i don't understand why you're relating a bov to a tranny. ppl usually use a dv instead of a bov. post that code.

during normal shifting it wont be as loud as a manual because the tranny shifts faster, but if you accelerate somewhat hard and then let off the pedal you should still get the bov sound. tiptronic makes it more audible too i think

and you might get a small psi increase but i wouldn't count on it

you wont be boosting past like 5psi and have no power. you should just get either the h or j n75 valve, or bypass it and just get an mbc

Plenty of people had those and no one really had any success with them. I had the passat running with it but it recently crapped out on me. The cheapest replacement i know of is a turbonectics varibale bc. If you run a mbc, there is no need for a differnt n75
