Default Braek warning light question

My son in laws 2001 A4 Avant has this warning light on. The symbols in the manual don't exactly match up. Bentlys does not show the warning light symbol either. Looks like it could be an ABS problem or Electronic differential lock or???

Any ideas ?

Default Brake pad wear sensor was the culprit, thanks 209

We pulled the RF caliper apart and found the pad wear sensor wire parted at the pad. I spliced the wires together and road tested the car, no light.

Thanks 209, where is a good place to buy front pads and rotors?

summitracing.com, tirerack.com, or your local auto parts store. just make sure you get premium pads from the auto parts store. dont be cheap when it comes to stopping

I think Advance Auto carries Bendix which is a decent brand. You can get Duralast Gold at Autozone which is OK. Better to get them online.

Default ECS tuning

I ordered them from ECS tuning. I hope they will be the right size, I ordered 280 mm. Is that right?

Default Too bad

Too bad I did not think to measure them when I had the wheel off. Next time.
