Does anyone use any kind of lubricant on the Caliper Guide Pins on the A4 B5. I bought a rebuild kit and there was no grease. I am reading that it appears to be needed for other vehicles but I cannot find any info on the the B5 Audi. The suggestions are not to use any silicone based stuff but this red colored grease.

I've always used synthetic stuff from CRC. Never had a problem.

Everything it touches is metal anyway right?
