Default Brake wear sensor question

Ok guys, got a question here. I've called ECS 4 different times and have gotten 4 different answers at this point. So maybe someone on here or Chris from ECS can chime in and help.

Ok, basically my brake ware sensor connector on the harness side has been cut and removed. This is a result of wear and tear and I no longer have the harness side connector.. So essentially I am just looking for the harness side connector..

Now from what I can tell if I order ECS part http://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-B5_A4-...ng/OEM/ES8014/ I can take this connector and splice it in where the old one was. **now this is were the issue starts because I believe that ecs has the wrong description listed here. This part says that it is the pad side connector.. Now if you will look at ecs part http://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-B5_A4-...OEM/ES1832893/ this one says that it is the harness side connector.. However, that is incorrect, because if you look at the typically pad side sensor http://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-B5_A4-...ing/OEM/ES402/ this is what it should look like.

So it appears that They have this backwards. Anyone care to shed some light on the situation.

Now I've been advised by one of the reps at ecs that the only way to obtain the harness side connector is to by the entire abs/speed sensor system. which runs around 100$.. http://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-B5_A4-.../ABS/ES523202/

Can someone tell me if I buy ecs part http://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-B5_A4-...ng/OEM/ES8014/ can i just splice this in? Or should I just try and find a part out on here, or try the pick apart locally?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Michaels

Just to clairfy I plan on splicing the connector into to the harness side and plugging it into the pad side.

IE: part http://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-B5_A4-...OEM/ES1832893/ can plug into part http://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-B5_A4-...ng/OEM/ES8014/

That's all I'm trying to figure out.
