Default Breather Hose broke on me again

I was checking something else and noticed my breather hose that I just changes 3 Months ago, was broken again. Part#058103213 . I am not going to mention who I bought it from since I still buy stuff from him. Has anyone else have the same problem. I am thinking about doing my own plumbing on this one.

That is a funny. On the A4 1998's is slightly harder to use something like this. Mostly because there is nothing I can clip to on one End. It almost looks like they did it on purpose. I am thinking about a large heavy duty heat shrink.

Makes me glad I replaced mine with silicone and put in a catch can. I swear there's a thread about someones PCV system failing every week. Even if you used cheap rubber heater hose you'd be better off than the inferior flaky brittle plastic Audi uses.

If you have an Audi A4 1998 Avanat and you installed a Catch Can, Could you please post a picture. The one Guy who posted before was not for the Same Year or Model as my Car. Thanks.

Avant or not won't help. What engine do you have?
