Default Broken Hose - Need help identifying!

Attached is a link to the Gallery pictures that I took of the broken hose. It is on the right top part of the engine below the coolant resovoir. It seems to be some kind of bypass hose or something running to the left of the main hose. I don't see any fluids coming out of it, but it is definitely shot. Could you please help me identify it and and get me the part # so I can get it changed out JIC it is something that may be important.

Are you referring to the hard plastic pipe, looks like a y shape?

Default This It?

From doing some research I have come across the vagcat and believe it is part of the suction jet pump system. It seemed to be part 8 of their diagram. Here is the part # if I am correct in how I look at it.

078133783E SCHLAUCH 6.05 Euro

Don't know anything about what it does. Is it serious? I will see if the dealer can order me a replacement. Should I drive it in the meantime. I haven't noticed any issues with how it runs.

Thanks for your help.

BTW the hard plastic part that is in front of the hose is not broken if that is your question. It is only the hose that comes off it at an angle towards the left if you are looking at it from the front bumper.
