Default Broken "oil dipstick", causing boost leak?

Title says it all, I'm trying to fix my boost issue (only boosting 4.5lbs of boost). I have a dipstick that is currently broken and missing pieces of plastick that help create a tight seal.

Question is will a leak in the dipstick area hurt my 1.8t's performance or will it cause a boost leak?

Ha, ha. Not very likely. Most boost leaks are caused by failing DV's. That's what happened in my case anyway.

Buy one and fix it. It's like 5 bucks. I actually just replaced mine... But no it shouldn't be affecting boost levels.
