thats weird. my car makes white smoke like when i first start it up (not right away but like 10 sec later) but it goes away. and then it just smokes regular. (which is still white smoke, but not nearly as thick; just.... normal lol)
edit: +1 to what somebody said!

First do a compression test. Could be piston ring(s), pray it's not. Check your pcv valves too. Thats not alot of miles, usually only see that on high mileage motors.

I had oil collecting in my FMIC and getting sucked into the intake. It was smoking out the exhaust also, mostly on acceleration from a stoplight. It was fixed by cleaning out the intercooler.

Ive basically got the exact same problem that you do joe. the exhaust kinda smells sweet ish, and it burns a bit of oil here and there. but then again i have 172000 miles on mine so im not exactly sure what it is, nor if i want to try and fix it.

my car smells of oil when i first start it up. that's because i know i'm burning oil lol. you can get the compression tester from autozone. they have a loan a tool service where you'll get your money back.
