A/C freon level
I agree with flyromero3, you're losing refrigerant. You can have someone inject dye into the system and use a black light to see where it is leaking from.
The most common leaks are close to the radiator, the connection at the firewall to the evaporator, and the evaporator itself. If the evaporator is leaking, your in for some serious repairs.

i bought an AC gauge and hooked it up and found that the compressor was kicking on and build pressure and then it would kick back off. so then i started digging and found that my AC fanhad a loose electrical connection and thats why it wasnt turning on. so i plugged it in and fan came on. then when the fan came on, the compressor stayed on instead of kicking on and off like before. but because i put some R134a in at first cause everyone said it was probably low, i now have a little too much in the system. its not into the red on the gauge or anything, but it is into the yellow part though. but anyways, itall works again so i'm happy. thanks for all the help
This seems to be the more common pipe that ends up cracking based on what my brothers friend told me that works at beiner audi.
If you have the car on the lift and are facing the front. When looking up you'll see two pipes. One of those pipes further up was what cracked on me.
It's not a simple thing to replace IMO, unless someone else knows how to. They do sell them on eBay but im not sure which one this is.

maybe thats why your a/c isnt cold enough.
You should check that same pipe i posted the pic of ^ up there.
Theres a piece of metal right in front of the pipe which gives it like a half inch clearance. I gotta find a piece of rubber or something to put inbetween it.

Interdynamics makes a can with R-134a, lubricant and stop leak.
It also has a pressure guage. The systemshould have 25-45 psi indicated
when full. The can can only be connected to the low pressure
side. WalMart sells this 18 oz. can for $20.

mine is overpressurized a little (about 52 psi) how do i purge the system a little bit? i guess i could just push down the port on the low pressure side and shoot R134a out all over the place and that would work, but that doesnt seem like the safest method
Its gas, so I dont think it'll "spray" over you.
Thats what I would do but, better have someone else confirm that.
If you have a gauge, just connect it but not all the way. Screw it on to the point you hear gas coming out.
