Can u solve this timing mystery?
I got the car running like a top! Only one cylinder has less than 170lbs of pressure. All others are 180-188. Drives smooth and quiet. It is just a little rough at idle. May need new plugs. I did find one vacuum line open at the top rear of the engine where several lines come to a tee, which is open, with no hose attached. Does anyone know where it goes on a 96 12v?
Also, the A/C display panel went out while I was starting it the first time, and the A/C is not blowing cold. The fan clutch is not engaging either. I read several recent posts about the module for this car and a high side adapter, so I know what to order, but I don't know if this is a fuse issue, compressor or module, and I don't have a VAG Com.
