So, i have Audi A4 1997' 2.8L Quattro.

My problem is:
Car started shaking when i'm driving at pretty low rpm, shaking starts at ~2000 and ends at ~3000rpm. It shakes only when i push accelerator pedal slowly. If i accelerate fast, no shaking at all. I changed everything possible, coils, injectors, everything that may cause this. Car is NOT shaking at idle. I even changed chains. Dont tell me i need to balance my wheels. They are balanced good, no problems with rims, rotors, tires. chassis is ok too. Seems like the engine is shaking, but after chaning everything that might couse this problem, i give up, dont know what do do. Dealer cant help too. Few my frinds have the same fromblem with their audi's. I'm really starting to hate audi

 

drive train could be shaking.....check your differentials, diff seals, mounts, drive shaft, axles.

 

and engine mounts... I know its not doing it at idle, but your cars harmonics might be in the 2-3k range. Go through that range quickly and you wont feel it.

 

Well you have to look at it this way. It's a 97. Not a new car or newer by any means. Rubber parts are going to fail and hell after 12 years it's a gamble. I also would really inspect the motor mounts and the driveshaft.
